The primary objective of the bi-annual MultiTemp conference is to advance the knowledge on using EO time-series data to address a wide range of applications. Since its foundation in 2001, the scientific development in multitemporal analysis has evolved from change detection methods to signal-processing methods for the analysis of long image sequences, and from single-sensor approaches to multi-sensor synergy and fusion methods. This evolution originates from technological development in sensor systems and data analytics, availability of a multitude of high quality EO data from a wide range of instruments, but also from emerging societal challenges that require multisource and multitemporal observations to meet more stringent user requirements.
As previous editions, MultiTemp 2019 will provide a forum of discussion of scientific, methodological, and application issues related to multitemporal data analysis. The workshop aims to push novel solutions for technical problems related to the analysis of multitemporal data, to promote the use of multitemporal images in an ever increasing number of strategic and challenging applications, and to strengthen the connection between the scientific community and the end-users.
In this perspective, contributions are welcome from the methodological community dealing with novel techniques and methods for data analytics as well as from the application sectors focusing on using multitemporal data in practical settings. The workshop will include papers accepted for oral and poster presentation.
